Counseling for Adults

Do you ever feel that you are not good enough, not smart enough, not worthy enough, not able to make the change you want? Are you feeling stressed out, burnt out, or worn out? Do you feel like something is holding you back from your full potential and if you could just gain control of your thoughts, emotions, or life in general you could be unstoppable? Well my friend, if any of these above statements hit close to home I am here to help! I believe we all have different experiences in life that shape us into the people we are today. Some experiences are positive and some are negative but when the negative outweigh the positive in certain areas of our life it can be hard to find inner peace and balance. Certain experiences can lead us to believe very UNTRUE statements about ourself but deep within our soul they can feel so very true and hold us back from our full potential. I do not promise it will be easy and yes it will take some work but I do believe exactly what this fabulous stock photo says and that difficult roads lead to beautiful destinations.

Counseling for College Students

College can bring up new anxieties, insecurities, and challenges that young adults never even knew they had (or shine a new light on previous challenges). Learning to navigate the world more independently, insecurities that come along with making new friends, the stress of choosing a career path, learning to juggle new expectations, and uncertainty of how to find balance with all of the above are all common challenges I have seen. I love helping young adults find their inner awesome, gain a new sense of confidence and develop the coping skills they need to succeed during this time of life!

Counseling for Adolescents

"You don't understand!" "Everyone hates me!" "You're the worst!" "I hate school!" "Life is not fair!" Any of these sound familiar? Growing up is difficult and as a parent it can be very frustrating to watch your teenager try to navigate this crazy thing called life. Life often expects teenagers to have the skills necessary to make friends, set goals, focus on their work, manage their emotions, get along with their parents, etc. but one thing I know is that I never had a class in high school teach me all of that. Many of these expectations can lead to high levels of stress, anxiety, depression, self esteem issues, and/or academic frustrations that interfere with their daily functioning. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive space for adolescents where they can gain new insights, challenge negative beliefs they may have, and develop the skills needed to face life with a different outlook.
